SHRO, 'the DNA Volcano' by Lello Esposito opens the new communication campaign in New York

“The new communication campaign for the Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO), Philadelphia, USA could only begin at the center of the world, Times Square, New York, and it was only suitable to have representatives who hold Naples so close to their hearts, as everything has its origins there,” affirmed Giancarlo Arra, the vice president of the Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO). In fact, for this campaign, the “Vulcano Dna,” a creation by the Neapolitan artist Lello Esposito, was chosen as a symbol. “We will project this representation,” Arra continued, “alternating it with various images showcasing various activities carried out by our researchers in our American and Italian laboratories. Our goal is to raise awareness about scientific research and the battle against cancer.”
Lello Esposito remarked, “Two weeks spent between Washington and New York to highlight the fusion of Naples’ art and research. The ‘Vulcano DNA’ has been recognized with the prestigious ‘Award for Scientific Research,’ a tribute that Professor Antonio Giordano, who has been leading the effort for over a decade at Temple University in Philadelphia, will receive at the NIAF Gala in Washington D.C., which was attended by President Biden.” Esposito went on to say, “And now, live from Times Square in New York, thanks to the initiative of Giancarlo Arra, the vice president of the Sbarro Health Research Organization, my volcano design – SHRO, serves as a beacon to convey the significance of cancer research that binds Naples and New York.”
