SHRO is proud to announce its participation in the 51st Anniversary of the NIAF – National Italian American Foundation, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.
During the morning session, SHRO and NIAF will present One Health – An Italian-American Scientific Forum: Shaping the Future of Medicine.
The future of medicine will not be defined by medicine alone. Biology, environment, technology, prevention, and human experience are increasingly converging into a new understanding of health. Through the lens of One Health, this year’s forum brings Italian medical excellence and American innovation into the same conversation, honoring two distinguished leaders in women’s health while unveiling a new translational initiative in USA.
Curated by Dr. Antonio Giordano, SHRO President and NIAF Board Member, the conference will explore how translational research, oncology, and precision medicine are shaping the future of healthcare.
