The Italian Foundation
SHRO Italia is the Italian branch of the Sbarro Health Research Organization, founded by Prof. Antonio Giordano and recognized as one of the most dynamic entities in international oncology research.
The Foundation operates as a non-profit Third Sector entity and was created with the aim of promoting and supporting biomedical research, with particular attention to molecular oncology, regenerative medicine and the new frontiers of personalized medicine.
Our Mission
SHRO Italia’s mission is clear, urgent and deeply human: to improve people’s lives through scientific research, with a particular focus on the fight against cancer and complex diseases. Every project we support is born from the desire to combine scientific rigor, technological innovation and social commitment, putting the person at the center, not just the patient.

The project focuses on the molecular analysis of tumors, in particular non-small cell lung cancer.
Sport Genome
The project applies the principles of precision medicine to sports medicine, with the aim of preventing musculoskeletal injuries in athletes.
