Brain Circulation 2025/2026

Translational Gynecology Fellowship

Purpose and Scientific Rationale

Women’s health is under-researched at precisely the moment it faces escalating clinical and societal risks. This underinvestment contributes to the “women’s-health gap,” responsible for millions of years of life lost annually and a significant drag on global economic productivity.

The Translational Gynecology Fellowship is designed to bridge this “valley of death” between discovery and clinical application. We aim to cultivate professionals fluent in both experimental science and real-world care delivery. Our program creates a continuous loop from bench to bedside and back again, ensuring that insights generated abroad are translated into tangible improvements in women’s health at home.

Letter from the Honorary President

Dear Future Leaders in Women’s Health,
It is with great pride that I announce the Brain Circulation 2026 Fellowship. This program
represents three decades of dedication to bridging the chasm between scientific discovery and
patient care.

With less than 8% of research funding directed toward women’s health, this vision has never been
more urgent. The Brain Circulation concept reflects that knowledge, like blood, must circulate to
bring life. This fellowship takes you from Cremona’s anatomical theaters to Philadelphia’s
innovation hubs, from Miltenyi’s biotechnology headquarters to New York’s clinical excellence
centers.

Our 200+ researcher network stands ready to mentor you. The prestigious SHRO Gala in June
2026 on the Costiera Amalfitana will launch you into a career that bridges continents and
disciplines.

You will master artificial intelligence as a tool to decode patient and diseases. You will learn
molecular medicine to develop diagnostics that prevent gynecological cancers. You will return
with networks, skills, and vision to implement change.
I look forward to welcoming you to our global family.
