On March 5, 2023, at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, Professor Giordano received the Honorary Achievement Award from the Italian American Cultural Society of Florida. The award recognized his outstanding scientific achievements in genetics, cancer research, and gene therapy, as well as his efforts to promote Italian culture. Notably, he established a virtual bridge between Italy and the United States through the Sbarro Health Research Organization at Temple University.
